- We invite you inWhen an appointment is free we'll call you to book a check-up. Children and people with urgent dental needs are seen first.
What to bring
- A list of any medicines you take, including inhalers and anything bought over the counter
- Proof if you get free NHS dental treatment, such as a maternity exemption certificate, HC2 certificate or benefit letter
- Contact details for your GP
- For children, a parent or guardian who can give consent
At your first appointment
Your dentist will check your teeth, gums and mouth, take X-rays if you need them, and talk you through anything they find. If you need more treatment, you'll get a written NHS treatment plan that shows the band and the cost before anything is done.
Your check-up is a Band 1 course of treatment (£27.90) unless you qualify for free treatment. If you then need a filling, the whole course becomes Band 2 (£76.60) in total, not £27.90 plus £76.60.
Keeping your place
NHS appointments are in high demand. Please tell us at least 24 hours ahead if you can't make it, so we can give the slot to someone on our list. If appointments are missed repeatedly without notice, we may not be able to continue your course of treatment.
Do you offer private treatment?
We're an NHS practice. If you'd like a treatment that isn't available on the NHS, just ask and we can refer you to a practice that offers it privately.
